Adding An Ad Banner To Your WordPress Blog (Sidebar)

Blog WordPress is a blogging platform that encourages you to create a blog to publish your passion your way. I use blogging blog platform, really do not know much about Wordpress, but a few I need what I will share with newbie.

It is common practice to use the sidebar to add banners. There are two ways to do this: if the theme supports the widgets in the sidebar you can add a code text of the widget with your banner or you can add the code directly to your tema.Si sidebar.php your file Theme supports widgets;

==> Go to Appearance >> Widgets
==> Drag a text widget to the corresponding widget area. In our case it would be "Main Sidebar".
==> For the purposes of this tutorial, we will place this widget just below the search field.
Lastly, paste the banner code on it, set a title for the (optional, leave the field blank if you do not want to have a title above your banner) and click the Save button widget.

This will place the banner you want in the sidebar of your WordPress site.

If your theme does not support widgets, you need to add your banner code directly to sidebar.php. You can edit this file from the Appearance >> Editor of your WordPress admin page.
